Submit your poetry and stories. Don't delay, email them over today... WelcomeTIM SAUNDERS PUBLICATIONS is an independent book publisher in Locks Heath, near Southampton in Hampshire, England.
"As a small press I really enjoy working with talented writers and poets and accept unsolicited submissions. My goal is simple; to help them get their work published and for it to read as well as it possibly can, through careful editing and setting. I pride myself on good communication with my authors, providing the best old fashioned customer service I can, which helps to create a smooth publishing process. Opportunities provided range from having a single poem or short story included in one of my anthologies through to helping budding authors achieve their dream of publishing their very own book. Whatever a contributor's level of involvement, the end result is something of which to be very proud." Established in 2022, Tim Saunders Publications is built on good reputation and recommendation. The catalogue of books includes anthologies in England, America and the Commonwealth as well as novels, memoirs and children's stories. "I look forward to extending my reach further and working with more writers and poets around the world as I publish more thought-provoking anthologies on various subjects. There are some very exciting books in the pipeline." The Paul Cave Writing Prizes Over the years, as a regularly published journalist and author of several commissioned books, I have entered various established writing competitions and been disappointed not to receive any acknowledgement of my submissions, let alone have the work published. Disillusioned with this, I have launched The Paul Cave Writing Prizes to shake things up but above all provide writers and poets with exciting opportunities where each and every one is acknowledged. These independent, self-funded awards (there is no large trust fund or corporate sponsor, as with so many) all serve to champion lesser-known writers and poets, giving them valuable platforms to get their work published, no matter whether they win a prize or not. Each submission is carefully read and considered and the winners are judged on merit, not by political or social stance or even nepotism. First and foremost I am looking for good writing that holds my attention. Each winner receives a cash prize, feedback and a book featuring their published work. Excellent for personal development and confidence building. The prizes are: The Paul Cave Prize for Literature The Paul Cave Prize for Teenage Fiction The Paul Cave Prize for Children's Literature So, whether you are an avid reader on the look out for fresh new literature, or a writer seeking greater recognition, you really must bookmark this website, which is regularly updated... and I look forward to reading your submissions, too. At Tim Saunders Publications there are always opportunities for writers to get their work published. Tim Saunders Publisher |
NEWS IN BRIEF
RIP
The death of David C. Brydges, Poet Emissary of The Ontario Poetry Society has been announced. "My latest anthology, Ode to Chocolate, was his idea," says Tim Saunders. "He was always very supportive and was a regular contributor. The world is worse off without David. It was a pleasure to know him."
Contributor Brenda Gunn adds: "David recently passed away in Edmonton, Alberta, (where I am) while preparing for a Haiku workshop. He had been featured reader the night before at a poetry event, the NIghtingale. His poems in Ode to Chocolate would, I think, be his last published work. Thanks so much for your work for poets and poetry. I will contribute again!" Winners announced
